Qatar is a men’s national soccer team, known as The Maroons, will make their second FIFA World Cup appearance in 2026. Their debut came in 2022 when they hosted the tournament, and now they return after qualifying through Asia. Led by coach Julen Lopetegui and captain Hassan Al-Haydos, Qatar hopes to go further this time and reach the knockout stage. In the group stage Qatar will play against Switzerland, Canada, and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
